I am just starting to get the videos from my Israel trip
organized and thought I would give you a little sample.
The last eight days of the trip we spent on a tour with Chabad.
Anyone who knows Chabad knows they are all about dancing,
singing and having a good time!
The last day of the trip we went to a Israeli paratrooper training
base where the soldiers made all 250 of us a barbecue.
It was non-stop singing and dancing for close to three hours.
It was supposed to be for us on the tour, but it really was for
the soldiers- the sheer joy on their faces and the fun they had
was a wonderful break from their otherwise monotonous
routine....
I'll try to post more when I get time.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5nf3z8ONcI

This one is also from the paratrooper base and the handsome
guy on the left (in the blue baseball cap with the sunglasses
on the brim) is my husband...
The red and white flag is the flag of the paratroopers..

Those were awesome! My son loves music and we watched #4 over and over again. Do you have a longer version?
On another note, did everyone remember to do their bedikat last night?

Because of the way I shot the video (it was done in snippets
because there were so many people they kept getting in my
way so I would have to stop the camera, move and start over.
Plus I had to stop the camera because my battery was getting
low) when I try to upload them onto youtube it recognizes
each snippet as a separate video and won't link them together
even though they are back to back on one disc. I am also
having trouble loading that disc into my computer. Once
I figure it out-I might have to PM someone knowelegable
about computers, if there are any volunteers here- I can
put up longer versions.

Yep, and today search and destroy is complete!

by #4, you mean the Jewish rap/I'm proud to be a Jew?
I have maybe a minute or two of it...it was great.

Ah, I see. I'm an IT Systems Admin, but haven't done too much with video so I may not be much help...

Oh no, I was referring to the 3rd clip in post #4. Very lively music. We enjoyed it very much. Put us in a great mood this morning.

Those are great - looks like you need a program to stitch them together.
I don't do a lot of video, but I might be able to help after Pesach.

Oh, we all had a great time. I can say it was probably one of the
best days I have spent in Israel...

It looks like it was a fun day and a blessing to be so joyful in the land.
:sigh: makes me pine all the more though.
