He is an 'old catholic' not in communion with Rome, so maybe he's without a forum a he thought... well, anyway :(

It has nothing to do with the fact he posted it. It has to do with he fact that TAW is trying to avoid having threads where the RCC is the centre issue.

oh well, but the poor guy is left without a fellowship forum. Just wanted you to know. He is not non denominational as he is not P/R/E... maybe they should start a forum for none of the above? :)

If this site had at least 6 Old Catholics they would probably get their own forum. But I think in reality they would also fall under the word Protstant.

Well, I don't see why there should be any problem with him sticking around. There are several other catholics and other denoms. represented here. As long as he doesn't focus too much on what Rome is or is not doing. And I'm sure he's not the only one who needs to adhere to that advice.;)
My impression of Orthodox people so far is that most are kind, loving, supportive, and non-judgemental. I hope we are all careful to continue to treat people of all sects of Christianity this way.

For the intents and purposes of these fora, he should probably be considered Catholic. Anglicans not part of the Anglican Communion are considered Anglican and as far as I know, they can post and debate in the Anglican forum. A member of a sect that is in schism with Orthodoxy (ROCA, for example) is still considered Orthodox for this forum, even though whether or not they are truly Orthodox is quite debatable (and I'd say they're not!).
Father Rick, with all this talking about you instead of to you, are your ears burning? :) Thanks for posting that thread, even though it was closed, I certainly hope the Catholic church makes a stand against pro-aborts profaning their Eucharist.
As for Orthodox, we had a pro-abortion politician run for Governor here in South Carolina, and he was Greek Orthodox. His name is Nick Theodore. I have absolutely no idea if he's been excommunicated or anything.

Father Rick has shown a lot of patience over there. I am very disappointed in the outcome of Polycarp's thread.
