You can blame the gf for that one. She was acting like a proud new mother. Right now I am trying to fall back asleep after she woke me at 3 am to go to the bathroom and she is chewing on my toes.

Welcome to having 'kids'!
Is that a pink loofah dog that she has??? Those are Hamish's favorite toys, we call them his girlfriend cuz he has one that he drags around everywhere.

I am still trying to figure out if it was my spiffy Mario Lemieux jersey in the style they wore when they won the cup in '92 or my puppy Ruutu that caused the Pens to sweep the Sens?!?!

But positively thinking, at least Ruutu has a normal tounge! And big feet!

Doubtless she will grow into her big feet :)
As to the tongue - well it's normal at present but if she starts copying the others - well who knows what will happen. She could develop a degree of envy as regards the loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong tongue.

The Pens have the problem of having 7 highly skilled defensemen and only 6 active roster spots for them. Thus someone like Sydor loses playing time.

I'm here! I got back from NJ to find that a bull dog named Panzer has been replaced with a cocker Spaniel named Ruutu and that Michael is only getting surgery in one hand for now. So much has changed in my absence.

Hand #2 is going to happen in about 6 weeks. The gf is much more excited about the Cocker Spaniel than the Bulldog idea, although I am still working on that one. Once one of the ET's passes away (GOD FORBID!!!) I should have her convinced that we do in fact need a Bulldog! Did you see I am getting a new Honda in the morning?

Jennie,
The gf and I bought Ruutu a t-shirt yesterday at Kohls in order to start training her to wear shirts. She did not seem to mind it, but we did need to pin it at the bottom on the shirt so that her hind legs didnt get caught up in it. She is going to look so adorable in her hockey jersey!!!

By the way, she is cute, but hardly innocent. She terrorizes Oliver, Brittany and Tikhon. She is constantly growling at them and trying to get them to play with her and upsetting them. It is a sight to see!
