In light of the visit of the Pope here in the US I wanted to share with you all a powerful video on how TRUE and EVERLASTING the Law of the Lord is. This video gave me chills as I watched it...

"The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the EVERLASTING covenant." Isaiah 24:5

The Pharisees in Jesus’ day were always boasting about their obedience to God’s law. However, Jesus had made it clear that they were disobeying it.
The Spirit of Prophecy makes it clear that the remnant church has been called to go through an experience similar to that of the Jews in the first century. Therefore, Seventh-day Adventists are also disobeying God’s law while at the same time professing to keep it.

I never said this is about the Seventh Day Adventist church bourbaki. This is about one's relationship with the Lord and honoring the everlasting commands he has given us.
I do agree however, to your statement if you apply it to the SDA church as an organization. The church is in Apostasy in exactly the same way the EGW predicted it to be. Sad thing is though that most of the believers IN the church are blind as to what is going on. To my understanding there are two groups of people within the SDA church at this very moment.
1. Those who are slumbering and are willingly or innocently ignorant of the closeness of the second coming, the apostasy within the church, and the fullfilment of Bible prophecy in the world around them. Those make up the ten virgins of Matthew 25.
2. Those who are gathering themselves together in small groups to diligently study the word of God. They know the time is near and are reading the signs within and without the church. They have heeded and held close the warnings of the Prophets,
"I then saw the third angel. Said my accompanying angel, 'Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to select the wheat from the tares and seal, or bind, the wheat for the heavenly garner. These things should engross the whole mind, the whole attention'." (EW 118)
Through careful studying of the prophetic books they are getting themselves ready for the final conflict ahead. Their biggest concern is getting their loved ones and the ones around them to wake up and receive of the warning so that they may be saved. They are the true remnant, the Bride of Christ who wakes up the sleeping virgins that they may be ready for the second coming.
"If the church of God becomes LUKEWARM it does not stand in favor with God any more than do the churches that are represented as having fallen and become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Those who have had opportunities to hear and receive the truth, and who have united with the Seventh-day Adventist church, calling themselves the commandment keeping people of God, and yet possess no more vitality and consecration to God than do the nominal churches, will receive of the plagues of God just as verily as the churches who oppose the law of God." (E.G. White, Letter 35, 1898)
Through her liasons with Rome and ecumenism our church is embracing the enemy more and more. We can't dispute the size of apostasy that is within the leaders and the church as a whole. But let's not forget that there are still those who need to hear the warning and wake up.
