Tomorrow Harry Knei-Tal, Israel's Ambassador to the Netherlands, will mark the 116th birthday of Corrie ten Boom by adding her father Casper and her sister Betsie to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum's list of the Righteous Gentiles Among the Nations. The ten Boom family helped save more than 800 Jews during the Holocaust, and now Casper and Betsie have joined Corrie among those who have received this great honor for their courage and sacrifice.

The ten Boom family paid a high price for loving the Jewish people, as both Casper and Betsie perished in the Nazi death camps. But Corrie survived to tell the now-famous story of the Hiding Place. Today the life and work of her family are being kept alive by the Corrie ten Boom Fellowship, which has operated the ten Boom House as a free museum since 1986 (www.corrietenboom.com).
