Papal visit 4/15/08

"....Bush will host Benedict Wednesday for a private 45-minute meeting in the Oval Office after an elaborate official arrival ceremony with more than 9,000 invited guests expected on the South Lawn, more than were present for the arrival ceremony for Queen Elizabeth II last May.

During his visit the pope will drive his Popemobile down Pennsylvania Avenue and visit with Bush in the Oval Office. The president, giving the pope an especially lavish welcome, will also entertain the pope's entourage and special guests at a special White House dinner Wednesday night in the East Room of the White House -- though Benedict will not be there. As Vatican officials point out, popes traditionally never attend state dinners.

Benedict will also visit ground zero in New York and celebrate two stadium masses -- one in Nationals Stadium in Washington and one in the soon-to-be-demolished legendary home of the New York Yankees.
In an interview last week with a Catholic news outlet, Bush explained the reasons for the grand papal welcome.

"I subscribe to his notion that there's right and wrong in life, that moral relativism has a danger of undermining the capacity to have more hopeful and free societies," Bush told the Eternal Word Television Network. "I want to honor his convictions."

Is it really so hard to understand how secular power can/will be used to enforce religious objectives?

Here are some news links to check out. www.abcnews.com (http://www.abcnews.com/), www.cbsnews.com (http://www.cbsnews.com/), www.nbcnews.com (http://www.nbcnews.com/), www.cnn.com/news (http://www.cnn.com/news), www.cnbc.com (http://www.cnbc.com/), www.msnbc.com (http://www.msnbc.com/), www.foxnews.com (http://www.foxnews.com/). These are just a few of the links available. Another way to find related links is to simply enter "the popes visit" into any search engine. I also find it interesting that this is the first world religious leader to have their flag displayed beside the US falg on the fronts of public buildings in Washington in D.C. and used to line the streets of our nations capital. Also this is the first time that we, as American tax payers, are paying for a dinner party at the White House when the guest of honor, the pope, will not be in attendence.

With these kinds of events taking place, as I write this, we can clearly see the exact reason why we must have a complete foundation in both biblical history and secular history to completely understand biblical prophecy.

History is a record of prophecy fulfilled. Prophecy is history written in advance. The final events of this world's history are rapidly coming to a close.

Respectfully, your brother in Christ,
Doc

I agree. This is prophecy being fulfilled right before our very eyes. It kind of gives me the chills. They are just too chummy.

This world is already in a global economy, our borders are being erased; we will not unite politically at this time, nor culturally, nor in language. What better way to unite the whole world then through religion? It's something every race of people in every culture have in common. Religion. It's the perfect unifying factor.

I would love to be abe to eavesdrop on the meetings that are going on behind closed doors. I wonder what is really being discussed.

Oh, I did google "pope visit." There are a zillion articles on the pope visiting here. I wish more explained what he hoped to accomplish while he is here. I mean what does he want to come out of these meetings with President Bush? Maybe he has some ideas on how to end the Iraq war. I know he doesn't like that war or any war for that matter.

I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I'm pretty sure it's more of a talk about how the road to the NWO will be accomplished in this coming year and the near future. Neither the current 'elites' in our government nor the Pope have any desires to end the conflict in Iraq for it's very much to their purpose. Let's not forget that the Vatican, through their many societies and organizations, which they try to claim no association with, are the ones that are the actual masterminds and driving force behind the NWO plans and the unity of all the churches. Nothing is how the media tells you so you would do better not to believe what you see. The Vatican is exactly the same as it was during the inquisition when it slaughtered up to a 100 million people for their faith. Nothing has changed. They never cared about human lives nor they ever will, including the Pope.

In regards to your previous post:

Agreed completely. And what about hte coming depression. Most analysts say the 1929 depression was a walk in the park compared to the one that's about to hit this country. And when the times get hard how much easier do you think it will be for the populace to unite together or even give up some of their freedoms just to secure their financial well being and the well being of their families?

We're in for quite a ride... :D

Hi tnp2140,

You have just uncovered the tip of the iceburg with this statement.Agreed completely. And what about the coming depression. Most analysts say the 1929 depression was a walk in the park compared to the one that's about to hit this country. And when the times get hard how much easier do you think it will be for the populace to unite together or even give up some of their freedoms just to secure their hoped for financial well being and the well being of their families? You will notice that I've highlited a few words in blue. I've also added two words in red. Please let me explain why I did this.

Prior to every dictatorship in recorded history, no matter how far back in history you may wish to go, has come some form of economic chaos and or colapse. The ultimate example of this is Adolph Hitler. The first time he ran for public office he was laughed at. Not long thereafter Germany was on the brink of economic colapse and he was elected to it's highest office. Ofcourse we all know the results of that.

Throught history human beings have always been willing to sacrifice personal freedoms for "hoped for" economic stability and security. This has never worked but as it has been said "Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to make the same mistakes in the future."

This brings us to today. Think about how the attention of the whole world is being focused on this meeting between the Pope and President Bush. Also take note of the very warm acceptance of the Pope by President Bush. Then read Revelation 13. Can you now see some things that perhaps you hadn't seen, or thought about, before?

"And the whole world wondered after the beast."

Respectfully, your brother in Christ,
Doc
