I saw a post last night that said they removed that feature temporarily to free up resources and make the site run faster again.

It also isn't working in individual forums, will this come back? It feels lonely not knowing if someone is there with you or not. :)

I'm thinking it should with the upgrade, but until the upgrade hits we can only wait and see :)

All I know is that some functions were turned off to help the forum work better and as we all can see, it is having positive effects.

As a forum owner I can tell you that once the bugs are fixed we will have all of the functions of the forum at our disposal. And after reading the thread on what we will get with the upgrades in the new forum that is being developed as we speak, we can ultimately look forward to a fantastic new forum with more functions, bells, whistles and really neat things.

in my honest opinion if its a choice of having to click the links anywhere from 2-10 times to make it work, or not knowing who is in the same thread^_^ I'll do without for the time being.

I've asked for help finding the post on the new forum but nothing so far. What I remember are more audio and video, better characters, avatars, and more and better looking armor items. That's all for now.

Actually, only admins and SuperA have had access to what the new site will look like.
