I'm looking to expand my musical collection. :D And unfortunately I don't know many of the actual band/artist names.
I like this one I've heard forever on the radio.

But then there's another song similar. A male sings it, and there's something along the lines of:
holy, holy
hallelujah, hallelujah
All of God's children...
or maybe that line comes first with "sing"?
So what are your faves? And does anyone know what song I'm talking about? ^_^

I love that song. God of Wonders from the City on a Hill CD.
The song you posted a couple of lines on doesn't sound familiar to me, though.
My favorite group right now is Casting Crowns. MercyMe is another awesome group. Both groups have a lot of great songs. I'll have to post some later. :)

Oh yes, I'm a bit too familiar with Casting Crowns and Mercy Me. Aren't they wonderful?!?!?!
I'm still on the prowl for the song name and band for that song. I'm certain I may have the lyrics mixed up, but I'm just as certain someone knows what I'm talking about.

OH my, I have tons of reccomendations...I'll try to make sure all I say are the contemporary -ish genre though :P..and some of them you probably know already :P
Um...first and foremost..Jeremy Camp, but I reckon you knew that :P..or you should...
Um..Adie Camp, Avalon, Audio Adrenaline, BarlowGirl, Big Tent Revival, Brandon Heath, Bart Millard ( well, he's from MercyMe, but he has a hymns cd out..SO good :)), Bethany Dillon, Brain Littrell,Building 429, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, DC Talk, Erin ODonell, George Huff, Tim Hughes, Jaci Velasquez, Jadon Lavik, Jars of Clay, Jon McLaughlin, Jonah33, Joy Williams, Kristy Starling, Kutless, Mandisa, MAtthew West, Michael W Smith, Natalie Grant, Amy Grant, Plus One, Rachel Lampa, Point of Grace, REbecca St.James, Matt Redman, Rush of Fools (I'm so addicted to their Peace be Still atm), Salvador, Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, Sara Groves, Vicki Beeching, Newsboys, Philips Craig and Dean, Shane and Shane, Tom Agnew, Aaron Shust, Switchfoot (altough if you ask me, only their older stuff is worth it :P)Hillsong, um..and that's all I have on my computer...I know I have more in my cd case, but hey ..I'll stop :D

Well, I'd certainly agree with the Jeremy Camp and Casting Crowns recommendations:thumbsup:
Along with DC Talk, you might also want to check out the solo projects put out by Toby Mac and Michael Tait. They have some pretty good stuff out, IMO.
I also like some Petra. Greg X Volz, who was the previous lead singer has two solo albums out also that were great. This goes back to the late 80's though. You might still be able to find them.
Also some good older stuff is by Keith Green and Michael Card. Rich Mullins is good as well. Also look up some Don Francisco. I also like a guy named Phil Driscoll. He's not the best singer, but he's a great trumpet player (and I used to play trumpet--so I'm partial to him)
Okay, that's all I can think of right now, other than what's already been mentioned. God Bless :)

Oooooooooo Chris Tomlin!
Rich Mullins is a classic. I also like Phillips, Craig & Dean (they remind me of Chicago).

I've heard of both Mullins and Driscoll from our local christian station. I'll check them out and thanks for all of the other recommendations too.
Personally, I always thought the trumpet was cool. But my parents never agreed to let me play it while in school.
My next music related question would be: if I download the songs from the internet onto my pc will they work? I ask because if I download them onto my phone, then I cannot transfer that to my pc. So I'm thinking download to pc first then phone.

No, not ringers. My phone is like an ipod or the iphone. I can download music to it and play through speakers or headphones or transmit it through a radio station. But I want to make sure I can also have the song on my pc, so I can listen to it through that too.
