Hey everybody!

I was just wondering what your view would be on Tattoos. We are now saved by Grace and so Leviticus 19:28 doesnt really apply to our lives now. None of us lead a Levitical lifestyle.

Let me share with you what I am considering. A small tattoo on my bicep... Its as follows, im sure you can all read it. It means 9, 3, and S. To me this is because 'back in the day' the Jews and Early Christians use to pray in the synagogues at 9am, 3pm, and at Sunset. So its a real reminder of the importance of prayer.

As far as I can see it would not be destroying the temple of the Holy Spirit. After all its only a small one, no bigger than the image I have attached. Please excuse the resolution, I made the image really quickly!

What are your thoughts and feelings? Im open to scripture!

God Bless, metal.

These comments are not welcome here. You can take it to IDD, but not here.

1) We were always saved by G-d's Grace through Yeshua.
2) Does not Leviticus also show us G-d's preferences for us, His children?
3) I am utterly against tattoing -- but don't fret -- I always have been, long before I ever was drawn to Messianic Judaism.
4) I don't think that having tattoos remotely keeps one from salvation. However, I do also think that it is not a light thing to get a tattoo once you are already a believer.
5) Keep in mind, please, that my opinion is simply that, my opinion based upon my understanding of G-d's Word. I do not judge you or anyone else for your/their choices -- I really have my hands full trying to keep myself on the straight and narrow :) .

Shalom, Metal!

Well, you may not follow Torah, but the majority in this forum do, and it forbids tattoos.

This thread can go nowhere good, so I'm closing it.
