'Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with affection have I drawn thee. Again will I build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel; again shalt thou be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

30 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah; 31 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; forasmuch as they broke My covenant, although I was a lord over them, saith the LORD. 32 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people; 33 and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: 'Know the LORD'; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more. -- Jeremiah 31

Hebrews 8 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Do you think this has already come about as many Christian churches teach or is it just starting to happen today or has it not happened at all? I read about many returning to Judaism, many seeking, others wanting to take on the laws, where is this coming from? Is the Ruach HaKodesh working in all this?

This is such a good topic. I wish you were here (or I there) and we could sit down over a cup of coffee :yum: There are some things that don't lend themselves to a quick answer. And often one needs to develope a relationship to ensure understanding (or at least try). If time would permit in an arena like this to really develope this....

The quickest answer imo is yes and no, now not yet. I wish I had more time. I have been thinking about this too.

I'll put the pot on but will have to wait as well. Shabbat is coming on and while I am almost ready I am having company and need to do a few more things, sigh , but really would like to discuss this. Mostly I am going by what I am hearing and seeing posted.

Something to nosh on till then:

Isaiah 62
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Is not the meaning of the true "church" ekklesia", mean the called out ones? Separate?

Truly repentant, the Lord can save, those that seek forgiveness for themselves with the washing away of their sins as Jesus provided in this symbolic service. If we follow Jesus’s leading, He will have us baptized three times. First is the baptism of water, then he baptize us with the Holy Spirit and finally with fire.

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

You remember the parable that the Lord told about building the house on the rock, so that when the winds blew and the floods came, it was not moved. We understand the foundation for the house was a solid foundation of Christ. Building a foundation for the Temple of God which you are, in which God may dwell will need to be strong to withstand every wind of doctrine, and the over flooding of satanic deceptive lies manifested to deceive the very elect in the last hours of earth’s history.

Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

So how are the people of God to be prepared for this experience that the world has and not be over come in some deception of Satan. They are themselves to have an experience with God, in their Temple. This indwelling of the Holy Spirit will seal them to the truth. Just as the disciples were told to stay in the upper room until the Holy Spirit comes, so are we to wait upon the Lord, praying for deliverance only He can give us. Praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that we might walk in the light of truth. Many are coming to the knowledge of truth, by the baptism of the true Holy Spirit, and they are seeing the world in a new light, they are seeking, they are finding, and they are learning the ways of the Lord. The Lord is calling His children home. The light will continue to get brighter and brighter as the day of Our Lord dawns.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

A curtain reflecting the angelic activity in heaven, embroidered with cherubim, divided the holy from the most holy place. It is called the veil. It separated the Holy from the Most Holy where God dwelt on his mercy-seat, between the cherubim above the ark. These truths contained in the most Holy are sacred and immutable and as unchanging as God is. The veil has been ripped from many a believer's eyes as they have been baptised by the real Holy Spirit. As the light shines upon the Holy Temple of God, they see the Ark of the Covenant.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit. 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

At the death of Jesus upon the cross, inside the temple during the time of the Passover Lamb sacrifice, a heavenly symbolism was sent showing the world the earthly temple sacrificial services were over forever. So also is it with our hearts as the true believer has the veil removed from their understanding.

Mark 15:38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.

It was at that moment that the new heavenly priestly services were instituted. They now see Yeshua mediating for them not on the cross, but in the heavenly temple before the living Holy God of Israel.

Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an High Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

It is time for us to put on the fine linen that Jesus has provided and come in and be united with Jesus for eternity at the wedding ceremony. We are to spiritually come here to receive the final hidden manna, our new name, and to know the name of God at the appointed time.

Revelation 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Are you dressed and ready to enter? Because of what Jesus has done for us, we are to boldly enter into the Most Holy Place.

Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an High Priest over the house of God;

Mark 14
24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many."

1 Corinthians 11
25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

Hebrews 8
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
13 In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

2 Corinthians 3
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Yes, we are in the new covenant, which is not unlike the old. There are only a few differences.

1)Baptism of a new life and an outward acceptance of the new covenant
2)Circumcision of the heart to open a place for the Laws that are written on our hearts
3)The giving of the Holy Spirit to guide us in the Law
4)The taking away/fulfilling of those statutes which point to the coming of the Messiah

God is love.
God is the law.
That is who God is, the law of love.
The spirit of God is placed within to guide us in the ways of God.
Where God is that is where His Law is.

Just my thoughts.

I believe it is "not yet", for many reasons. Just a couple:

1) The new covenant spoken of here will be with Israel and Judah, specifically.

2) the Law is clearly not written on our hearts yet. When the Law is written on our hearts, this will be the outcome: 33 and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: 'Know the LORD'; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.

When something is on our hearts, it is on our hearts to DO that thing -- if I say it is on my heart to pray for my friend today, then I mean it is on my heart to DO so. If it is on my heart to call my mum, I do it. Anything that is on my heart is a call from G-d to me to DO... but I don't see the vast majority of believers in Yeshua remotely concerned about learning what G-d (through Yeshua -- He is the Word Who gave Torah/instruction to Moses) has to say about how He wants us specifically to live, as His followers.

We are all coming to the full knowledge of truth, we have yet reached the point where we are assembled together for the blessing of the latter rain. I beleive that we will soon be through the trials and tribulations, baptised by the fires of persecution, come to Yeshua in the most earth wrenching reality, that He is our only hope of salvation. Humbly, we are still working under our own strengths, wisdom, powers and Yeshua can not fully work in us until we have emptied ourselves to receive the latter rain that will clear up the mystery of God once and for all.

I agree, we are not there yet. We have not been lead all the way out of Egypt, we have not left Babylon, and we have not left the traditions of men. Until we see those things in us that need to no longer be in our life, how can we pray for the cleansing that we need?
