View Full Version : Tip: Use "POST REPLY," not "QUICK REPLY."

For the most part, this is a good fix. Unfortunately, in one thread this afternoon, it didn't work for me -- but overall it does seem to be correcting the problem.
Sure wish we'd get an update from one of the techs on this stuff.... :sigh:

I have discovered that using "Post Reply" in responding to a thread will correct the time stamp problem that "Quick Reply" is having. My posts that have been made by "Post Reply" have been stamped correctly, while the "Quick Reply" posts have not.

Thanks for the tip. I just hope the techs will just fix this and we won't have to do all this other stuff to make it work ourselves. :P

I think it's a little different each time for different people, lol. I find that when I use post quotes or post reply, my post gets dumped somewhere way back in the thread. If I post a quick reply (only on the last page of the thread) it seems to work most of the time for me. Ah, CF, never a dull moment!! LOL
PS, Snooch, I like that idea you have about an announcement/update page. That would help a lot.
