How do you feel about this message, Iosias? What do you find most compelling about it? How would you think we could apply it to our lives as individuals, and corporately?

We should recall that the Psalter's message is eschatological-messianic and the "new song" motif returns later in the bloc of psalms 91-100 (96 and 98 in particular) and which is build upon the kingship of Christ introduced to us in Psalm 2. It shows that we are to remember that Christ is King, he reigns over all and we have a king who has the torah in his heart and we should follow his good example. We should live our lives under his lordship rejoicing alway: again I say rejoice!!
