Definitive Areas Implimented

It would be nice with all the new changes of redefining staff areas, staff names, if the members could get some of the same.

Friendship Court...a place that once was and could be again for fellowshipping, is instead over run with flyby posts and pictures and post count increases.

Recreation Area....this is where games and picture posts and post count increasing threads should be.

Please can we have Friendship Court back as a place for fellowship threads, and move the game and counting and pictures and "hi"'s to the BE or Recreation ????

I agree, only because when I first arrived at CF, I came with a bunch of friends who became some of my closest friends ever, through Friendship Court, and now I rarely see them, but I wish for that back.

I voted for no change because some of the people in the friendship court may be needing those pictures, hellos, or notes of encouragement. There are so many lonely and hurting people that come to the forums looking for someone to show them that they care...to show them God's love, and this is one way that it can be accomplished. I do not care about the post increase.

i've voted no also - i've been blessed by the different pictures, scripture references, words of greetings that others have shared and like littleredkiss know that sometimes they can be just what someone needs to be encouraged; i've shared things for the same reason, hoping to bless, encourage or just give someone over there something to smile about

My suggestion would be to place any word and number games into the appropriate forums in the Rec Room, and to create a Friendship Court sub-forum for all personal fellowship threads, such as my one, for example. :) This would leave the main Friendship Court forum available for general fellowship and fun threads, such as Follow the Leader, Campsite thread, Emma's, Water Fight and others.

Posting a sweet picture to a friend to make them smile is different LRK, I do that. What I'm meaning is, and I've seen this happen and have had it happen to me, you set up a thread where friends can fellowship, not everyone is a site supporter, or fab 40 etc. and before you even have 10 posts between friends about something serious, someone comes along and jumps in to post a picture or a hi....now once a day is one thing, but multiply that by about 30...how can you have a nice heart to heart...

How can you share a sweet caring picture with a scripture to a friend who needs it, when someone comes along and toss's out one with other types of humor....and they post the same picture in every thread....just to increase post count..thats not someone looking to make friends.
Right now there isn't many places unless you're a site supporter where people of all ages can get together and set up fellowship threads.
Anyway, thats what this was about :)

I hadn't even noticed the wording yesterday where you said a "sub-forum"...that could be an even better idea, for those who like the pics and enjoy the hello's with no thought or meaning to them besides increasing post count, they could have the Friendship Court, but a Sub-Forum of Fc could be called Deeper Fellowship...where people take the time to care about each other, get to know each other, actually know not just each others names, but their kids and grandkids names too.
A place where if a friend is going through rough patches we can share our hearts and shoulers and Scripture with them.
