what do u all consider vulgar language??? seriously, because one of my friends post got shut down for saying the word crap..i mean come on, do u all honestly epect that everyone's definition of this is gonna be the same?

im not trying to be a pain in the butt, i honestly want to know

and also, what is your basis for editing posts? there are some extreme issues that of course are going to end up here...ie drugs, sex, ****, etc. and you cant keep editing them to make this place all clean and holesome...the world gets enough of that...if a non-believer came here with question i honestly dont think he would be able to get any withouth having to email someone privately.

How dare you come on here, a free server, and not abide by their rules younge lady! These people bend over backward's to make a free little forum for Christian's. So when they get a lukewarm guilt trip, they can come on and have their WWJD? Jesus freak subculture mirror of the identical world with sinfull pagan demonic evil deed's going on in the lack thereof! *deep breath* All these people do is try to reach out to a brotha'. And your wining.

Now that I have ended my sarcasm, let me state the following sensible word's......

We as Christian's can not subject ourselves to forget our root's.

The truth is, we were born into sin (if our pastor's aren't really hiding something from us). If we forget the very sinner's of this world, God will look down at us and shivver (excuse my spelling and sarcasm, but I just had a long 12 hour day at church and am very fed up with Christian's right now.)

We need to learn tolerance.

"America is a Nation where their feeling's are their God" in the term's Bill Bennet decided to phrase it. All of the sudden it matter's if we hurt a poor girl's feeling's even when we say nothing wrong. There here are other brother's (I can say that without offending feminist's right?) who struggle with ****, drug's, sex, violence, and many other thing's that are "shamefull to discuss". But if they need help, why are we limiting them? I mean I don't give a flying flip about how other's d a m n their brother's (and if you tell me that was bad I will get really sarcastic, lol). It's relative to culture.

But man, if we can't remember the poor (not saying Warchant or any other's are) then we have failed.

I SAID P O R N! A term used in other languages to describe trash. Something our fellow brother's have BIG problem's with. Somethign we should adress (if most of our Youth Pastor's would have stayed virgins).

GIVE A BIG WOOP WOOP FOR ABSTINENCY!!!!!!!!!!

*Sigh*

Certain words are kept in our automatic filter - when these words appear on our forums, they get turned into "*". Personally I do not find any of these swear words offensive, but some of our members and staff do.

There are many alternative words you can use. Use them.

We do not try to limit what can be discussed here, as long as they are within the Forum Rules. The Rules are there for a reason. Read about it - the link to our Rules is at the bottom of every page here. And the fact that you are registered here means that you agreed to abide by them.

The "drug thread" which was removed was not removed by myself, but by one of my staff. I agree with you that drug use needs to be discussed. I have PMed the author to let her know she can repost the thread if she wishes. As long as nobody comes in here encouraging drug use, but wants to discuss it, that's fine.

If you are not happy with the rules that you agreed to when you registered, then please don't use this site. If you want to use this site, follow our rules. It cannot get any simpler than that.

God bless!

:)

Thank's man.

To anyone who found my sarcasm offensive......

Get 6 hour's of sleep spend 12 hour's at church most of that time watching ignorant Christian's act like prophet's with a spin of word of knowledge with no food and making run on sentences......

You'll understand.

This filter is easy to modify. I find it amusing (and annoying  ) that you block out p o r n (which can lead to confusion...I have seen this word blocked out in legitimate conversation). Also....s h m u c k? What's the deal?

LOL! :)

The "schm-ck" word is apparently Yiddish or Hebrew for male genitalia and may offend Jewish members.

You learn something new everyday.

As for the P0RN word - that's for reasons which will not be divulged here - but there is a reason, and it is for good reason to do with spamming etc. Just make do with alternative words.

I apologise for the inconvenience and "annoyance" but if you get a well-moderated forum site, then that is a small price to pay.

Then I am justified in putting spaces between them?

P O R N?
D A M N? (in context)

I can say hello without getting hell bleeped can't I?

If you insist on using these words, go ahead. Maybe try to limit the d@mn word - some of our staff may pick you up on that.

We have released the censorship of some more common 'expressions' however will be very closely watching who is posting and the context in which they are posting. I am sure we can use alternative words and will continue to edit or delete posts where these words are used flagrantly.
