How About Making Things a Little Simplier

This message forum has, by far, the most bells and whistles associated with each user.

Health, blessings, posts, reps, about 20 different symbols next to the screen name. I have as much of this stuff as possible turned off and it's still a lot.

What are we doing here, playing Worlds of Warcraft or discussing Christianity? I like this forum but it's too over the top with some of this stuff.

I think you might be in the minority on this. Many of the members like all the "bells and whistles". While it is a Christian Forum, it is also a place to meet others, relax, have fun, play games, etc.

A lot of members enjoy that stuff.

I'm at alot of different forums--- most of them Christian ones--- but what I really like about Christian Forums (and I'm saying this as a member--- not a staffer) is that it has cool extra features.

We are discussing ideas about how to make the site as simple as possible for our new members and those on dial up--- but the PDA is the best format to view the site from if you don't want all the extras :)
