King Charles the First!
Does the Anglican Church still recognize him as a saint?

In1661 at the Restoration of the Church, Jan 30th was ordered to be kept, after a debate in Convocation, as a public fast. Also a form of prayer was drawn up by Bishop Duppa. This contained a prayer that by a,' careful studious imitation of this thy saint and martyr and all other thy saint and martyrs that have gone before us we be made worthy to receive benefit by their prayers which they in Communion with the Church Catholic offer up un to Thee for that part of it here militant.' Churches were dedicated to him and reedings were chosen from scripture to mark the solemn day.

The answer then to the query was and is YES!

"Charles was formally canonised by the Church of England."

Yes. "St. Charles, King and Martyr"

Many church calendars show his feast day, January 30, although some I've seen do not. There is a greater liklihood of it not being so indicated if the Anglican church in question is in North America or somewhere else in the world besides England, particularly if in those locations there is another saint or event to be commemorated on that date.
