The Power to Delete your own post, even if locked. The ORIGINAL Creator of a Post Should Be able to retain certain rights, like the option to request the post to be locked, or the option to have it deleted. Reason to Avoid Conflict. To keep the Peace, Just Because A Mod or A administrator Has A case of Halo Polish and all the ribbons and awards given, Should never Be able to refuse certain rights, That is the WAY THE ALMIGHTY set things up, He does not interfere with a persons Free will. Those who don't know that, Don't really understand God and the story of why He made us Like Him.There is a post I have in another forum with no replies to it that I can not Delete, Mabey it is Firefox, I am going to try IE and see what happens.

you can ask a mod or admin to delete a post and we hapily do it however you have to ask the mods in the area you posted. However i do like the idea of members being able to delete their own posts

You can always go in, delete the post content and just put a . or a - or a :) in it's place. Post deleted! Remember though that if anyone has quoted your post, the words will remain in their post, so deletion is not as easy as it first appears.

sound reply.

I agree too - just stick a period . there and POOF, it's all gone.

Even if you could delete the post, you're right, if somoene else quoted it, you're stuck.
Altho I have pm'd a person to ask them to edit a post I deleted or changed.
They kindly edited it for me:holy:

Once a thread is closed, that's not possible -- the edit buttons disappear.

Please contact a Staff member if you need a post edited or deleted completely and if you can't do it yourself. Same goes with another member quoting your post--- Staff may not touch that person's post but they MIGHT be willing to delete the quoted post (your post). I won't say they will 100% since it's the team's decision!
