United Methodist Church information

Hello, I was wondering can anyone tell me where to
get some concise and clear information on the United
Methodist Church. I am trying to find a church and
I want to look into the United Methodist Church.

Also, if you enter your information on the UMC website, they will do two things... they will forward your name to your nearest UMC just to welcome you and invite you to the Church (no pressure or follow-up) and the UMC.org will send you a packet of brochures with info.

I just did that myself back in November. I was really impressed with the information that they sent me.

Use the church locator function at UMC.org or your local phone book. Find the churches that are near you that you might want to attend, and call or visit the pastor.

There are many different flavors within the UMC and you might find that the ones in your area don't always fit the impression you might get from the website.
