What, so no one's willing to tackle this issue of the sotah? :P

Does anyone have any good ideas (backed by references) on why this was written only for the woman suspected of adultery, and not a man as well?

the biological reality - the women bear the children and keeping the lineage known was important to G-d

I believe that if a man was found in adultry they both were stoned - but only the woman was subjected to trial by ordeal

I don't know of any recorded case of the trial by ordeal ever having come out negatively, either ;)
