Who is Synger and why is she writing rules for the Messianic Forum?

I am so confused with all this new stuff. This sites changes more than a chameleon! There are rules now posted for this forum and I don't recall any posts about this. We have lots of mods, but very few that are even Messianic. I don't know where to find any happening around here anymore, is anyone more savvy on this? Seems you could get into trouble in here no matter what you do because things are always changing.

My G-d is not an author of confusion, this is such a bad witness to him. :(

This is all so confusing for a new person! I'm almost glad to see it's not just me.

I have just one question that I hope can be answered simply because I'm not trying to stir anything up. This is in the rules (no surprise): No discussions against the Trinity. They are more appropriate for the General Apologetics (http://christianforums.com/f13-general-apologetics.html) or the Trinitarian Theology (http://christianforums.com/f805-trinitarian-theology.html) forums.

That's all well and good. I enjoy discussing it in the two forums the rules point to. But is a belief in the trinity inherent to the Messianic faith? Can that be answered with a yes, no or depends on who you are statement?

I think the answer varies here greatly. I for one have been given an insight or vision, or what ever you want to call it from the L-RD that explains the three in one but am afraid to share it here because of the strict conformity to the churchs definition of long ago, not to mention the constant warnings and threats about talking about it here ;) .

I find this very irritating, so much for open and honest debate.

How can we explore one particularly difficult subject if we cant even discuss it?

Why does God have to fit into a creed? Isnt the creed supposed to fit with God? After all this isnt a forum who has rejected any of the claims of Yeshua, just peoples understanding.

Wow!

A Statement of Faith that says absolutely nothing about obtaining personal salvation, the miracle birth of Y'shua, his death and resurrection, the gift of the Holy Spirit etc etc - who is the site theologian?

We cannot discuss RT (but I can't see why) but we can discuss supercessionism, presumably?

The Trinity is clearly out although I can debate issues on the three component parts provided I don't do it all at the same time!

Yeh, good rules those :sigh:

Sorry, the rules come from higher up, and we must abide by them. This thread is too close to being a violation of "discussing mod actions" which is not allowed. I am going to close this thread before that happens. PM Synger your concerns. We are operating at the new owner's pleasure.

Yeh, good rules those :sigh:    :sleep:Ok I guess you guys saw the new FSG Sticky eh?:)

Listen these were posted to clarify the very basics in posting here on CF and on the MJ forums, not to be confused with what you may see in a Mission Statement by your local Synagogue.

They were approved by your Mods, and other MJ staff members, and written by myself other Mods and Upper Staff....

One of the reasons you see synger's name on the sticky is because she is taking on the huge task of revamping ALL the forums FSGs and making them all uniform, easy to read, and easy to moderate....

If you dont like them you may certainly go to the suggestions and complaints box, and post a formal complaint about any thing you see you dont like, and let the RT team hear your appeal....

Alot of work went into all the forums new FSGs, and we understand we can never please everyone , the 777 reforms and old forum wikis proved that to be true. What we do have here, like it or not, is a SOF/FSGs for this Messianic forum, that will give this forum accessibility to guests, and yet still provide a safe haven to MJs .....

This new SOF/FSGs is not intended to be the "be all/end all" of Messianic belief, it is only a tool for the Mods and Members to aid them in posting privileges and restrictions in this forum, nothing more....
