Has anyone ever heard of this group? Supposedly they have something to do with a truck ministry.

Anyway, I got a letter from these people that really sent up some red flags with me.
First of all, the writer, a Dr. O.A. Moore, keeps referring to my husband and I as his "partners", as if we have had some prior relationship with this group (which we haven't as far as we know).

But what really got the radar going was in the middle of the letter, where he begins to ask for money. He calls it a "sacrificial seed gift" ($50) and he promises that God will "bless your sacrifice, returning to you a hundredfold". Sorry, but anytime I see a "promise" like this I lock up the wallet tighter than Scrooge's money house on a Friday night. I think the only one to get "blessed" by my sending money will be the person asking for the money. Call me what you will, but I have a feeling this is just another scam. If it isn't can someone set me right? Otherwise, maybe this will help someone else from being duped.

I have never heard of this organization. Also, I really cannot say if they are legit or not because I haven't seen the letter that you received. I will say that this could be the Spirit warning you to beware.

Like you, I am leery of this type of solicitation.

Good question. They vaguely mention needing a building and supporting a truck ministry and a "money famine" ( ), but no real indication of what the money would be used for.

I also would be very carful with a promise of a return of 100 fold from God because that is not scriptural at all. The only promise I remember about money is returning it ten fold and that is dealing with tithes. correct me if I'm wrong about this please.
