What is the Anglican teaching on why God even made man? What was our "purpose", if you will, before sin ever entered into the world? Why were we put here? What would we have done all day had sin not entered into the world through Adam? Please, if you can, I'd love the scripture referrences to your replies too. Thanx for any and all thoughts ahead of time... :D

Your question is the first question of the Westminster Catechism:

Q. 1. What is the chief end of man?

A. Man's chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him for ever.

The Anglican catechism starts with a much more intimate perspective, to whit:

Q. 1. What is your name?

A. <name>

Q. 2. Who gave you your name?

A. My godmother(s) and godfather(s) at my baptism, wherein I was made a Child of God, a Member of Christ, and an inheritor of the Kingdom of Heaven.

That doesn't answer your question, of course. But it gives some context: Anglican theology tends to focus first on the personal issues of right relationship between us and God, and between one another. "Big picture" speculation like the meaning of life is something for fun intellectual discussion, but not a matter on which we're likely to insist on conformity.
