For me personally? I agree with Visionary. But I also feel it is different for everyone.

coming from a physical understanding of salvation

Jer 50:16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

Ezek 34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

Ezek 36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

coming from a spiritual understanding

2Thess4v13: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Rev20v4: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5: But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6: Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Ps 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Something to work at with fear and trembling, according to Sh'ul! And something we, alone, are responsible for - no one else can obtain our salvation for us - Yechezk'el 18.

In one sense I believe Salvation was preach to us at the Exodus (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;)

We celebrate this Salvation each year with the four Cups at our Passover Seder Feast and with the sinless Matzah bread....

Exodus 6
6"Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, '(A (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1662A))I am the LORD, and (B (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1662B)) (first cup) I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and (second cup) I will deliver you from their bondage (third cup) I will also (C (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1662C)) redeem you with (D (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1662D))an outstretched arm and with great judgments. 7'Then (forth cup) I will take you (E (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1663E))for My people, and (F (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1663F))I will be your God; and (G (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1663G))you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
8'I will bring you to the land which (H (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1664H))I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and (I (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1664I))I will give it to you for a possession; (J (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus%206:6-8;&version=49;#cen-NASB-1664J))I am the LORD.'"

Yeshua told us when we took part in this feast to remember him (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;%201%20Cor%2011:23-26;&version=49;) because he was our Salvation , our Redemption ...

Luke 20

19And when He had taken some bread (afikomen) and (A (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;&version=49;#cen-NASB-25884A))given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
20And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup (third cup) which is (B (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;&version=49;#cen-NASB-25885B))poured out for you is the (C (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;&version=49;#cen-NASB-25885C))new covenant in My blood.

1Corinthians 11
23For (A (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;%201%20Cor%2011:23-26;&version=49;#cen-NASB-28624A))I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that (B (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;%201%20Cor%2011:23-26;&version=49;#cen-NASB-28624B))the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread (afikoman);
24and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
25In the same way He took (C (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;%201%20Cor%2011:23-26;&version=49;#cen-NASB-28626C))the cup (third cup) also after supper, saying, "This cup is the (D (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;%201%20Cor%2011:23-26;&version=49;#cen-NASB-28626D))new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
26For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death (E (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2022:19-20;%201%20Cor%2011:23-26;&version=49;#cen-NASB-28627E))until He comes.

You brought up an excellent point.

While His return to gather us where He is and for us to take on the immortal body is the ultimate salvation for all time, it is salvation of the body.

The Passover is the mental and spiritual salvation of our heart and faith.

What about the forgiveness of sin?

What about the curses that fell upon the children of Abraham for their disobedience of God's covenant?

How will the Lord bring them back into his blessing after disobedience?

According to scripture the regathering of the jews has already taken place and continues today. According to scripture what comes next will be something very bad. However, for those that choose, their is salvation.

You guys should already know this.

IMO that is what the Passover is all about, deliverance and redemption for us physically and spiritually, and that is why we are commanded to recount the Exodus each year, with the elements present, so it can really sink in what He has done for us both in Egypt (this Present World's System) and in Yeshua (the Lamb of God) who takes death away from our door, and who will usher us into Life Eternal a Kingdom that has no end:)
