would anyone be able to direct me to some sites that, have the full Hebraic symbols & their meanings???
does that make sense?? through my study i came across a site, by Jeff A. Benner, and i found it absolutely amazing, he was explaining how the symbols or letters used, actually had a meaningto form that letter, like the letter Beyt (http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/files/heb_early_02.jpg), was asctually the floor layout of entering a tent back in those days showing 2 sections of the house or tent anyone understand what i am trying to say, (sometimes i have no idea-:D :D )

I gotcha. You might want to try this one Learn Hebrew for Free (http://www.hebrew4christians.com/)

Or this one, which is the ancient alef-bet which had the picture letters, kinda like hieroglyphics.

This book you may want to get, it's good

Hebrew word pictures (http://storehouse.sonsofzadok.com/Hebrew/Books/Hebrew_Word_Pictures.htm)

Fantastic, thankyou so much,

i couldn't believe it as when i started reading into it, i just could not believe how much more study and prayer really is needed to read the Bible, and it really actually spoke to my heart when i realised some of the meanings and then reading the certain parts of the Bible it was referring to again. very lovely!!

Krist10leigh, if you have not already go to this site

http://www.ancient-hebrew.org very helpful

These are great but if I read Milly correctly she was wanting pre-Babylonian script Hebrew.

K-house might still have this if you do a word search at http://www.khouse.org/ it may turn up...

If memory serves, alef = ox (head) + bayith = house (home) makes the AB (father / head of house).

God is ain (eye) lamed (goad) from ayil a form of power el / ayil vav (hook) he (window) yod (hand) mem (water)

The all seeing all powerful all knowing one.

It's been a while. I am really rusty.

Wisdom in the Hebrew Alphabet by Rabbi Michael Munk
Is fantastic reading and gives so much meaning to the Aleph Bet.
A strong reccomendation.

The link I gave for the Hebrew word pictures, that book gives the whole cycle of the letters, from the proto- Hebrew to current, it helps to learn them in their transitions. From Moses time to David, to Daniel to Yeshua's time and the dead sea Scrolls. The other site I gave as it is easiest for beginners who want to learn hebrew.

The last time I checked out the ancient hebrew site, they were in an upheaval of reorganization, I didn't want to cause any confusion. :)
