Hi,

Can anybody give me a link to a reliable Julian Orthodox calender that shows fast days and feast days and if they are wine and olive oil or total fast days.

Also should show which week after Pentecost we are in. I'm always getting confused with that.:)

The dates should of course show up in Gregorian format. [Example - Nativity = January 7]

This (http://www.canto.ru/calendar/day_en.php) one looks ok, but it says today is meat-free, which of course is wrong!

Thanks

Kolya.

I suspect they have said Meatfree because it is called Meatfare Sunday [ well it is here (UGCC)and in other Julian Calendar areas ]

I've given up trying to find a good one - I bought a calendar from the USA which has both Gregorian and Julian dates and can normally keep myself rite with that :)

This (http://www.holytrinityorthodox.com/calendar/) looks promising, but still no weeks after Pentecost, or Nativity, etc. (Next Monday is going to be tough!;) But Lent is going to do my waistline good.)

I only hope this leg :sigh:pain get get fixed too!

I've found this one to be good, except it doesn't seem to have info on fasting rules:

Woops, I guess you had that one already... overall, most websites actually link to that one and it's based on a Russian one.

It doesn't show which week because we're in the Triodion so then you don't count it anymore. Go to Pentecost and weeks after that and it does show it.

Thanks Jenny,

It looks like that's the best one anyway. I'll just have to mark my calendar with P1, P2, etc after Pentecost. That will be the easiest way. Your calender is the best for fasting and Saints Days anyway.
