Baptism for the remission of sins

What position do you take on it? If we agree, there wouldn't be much of a discussion :)

I'm Eastern Orthodox, so I believe in infant baptism and that baptism is for the remission of sins in a sacramental reality (not symbolically), that it is the putting on of Christ by entering His death and resurrection, and I believe that this was the practice and doctrine of the Apostolic and post-Apostolic churches.
