The pagans had triad gods. I think that Krishna was supposed to have a virgin birth too! These are counterfeits. I think that the non trinitarians here believe that God is one; Father, Son and Holy Spirit are from the same being. So call it what you want. We still have the same G-d. YHWH, Yeshua, Ruach Hackodesh. Adonai Echad. Whether he is a trinity or not; It doesn't matter! I don't believe that Messianics are like JW's. JW's don't believe that Yeshua is G-d at all. What is your point. Are you preaching to the pulpit?

Oh boy, things I just didn't know I didn't know. They're cropping up everywhere!
Ok, so I don't believe in the trinity and never thought it was a big deal until I came here and read it EVERYWHERE!
So please, if you don't mind humoring me, what do you mean that JW's don't believe Jesus is God? I don't believe Jesus is God, but I wonder if I mean it differently. I believe Jesus is divine, divinely conceived, but completely separate from the Father. Is that what you mean?

I believe Jesus is G-d. Here is what I posted in the Trinity Game thread:
John 1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood[a (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%201&version=31#fen-NIV-26040a)] it.
Isaiah 9:6
6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon [1] (http://www.gnpcb.org/esv/search/?q=Isaiah+9%3A6#f1) his shoulder,
and his name shall be called [2] (http://www.gnpcb.org/esv/search/?q=Isaiah+9%3A6#f2)
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
John 14:
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 (http://bible.cc/john/14-9.htm) Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 (http://bible.cc/john/14-10.htm) “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. 11 (http://bible.cc/john/14-11.htm) “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. 12 (http://bible.cc/john/14-12.htm) “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 (http://bible.cc/john/14-13.htm) “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 (http://bible.cc/john/14-14.htm) “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
15 (http://bible.cc/john/14-15.htm) “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
In my opinion Adonai Echad could mean Soul, Spirit and Flesh as well as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe that it is oneness that is greater than we can understand. It is greater than a marriage.

Adonai Elohim!! Elohim is Plural!
No, it's not.
Plurality is determined by context (i.e. verbs, articles, etc.). Elohim when referring to G-d has singular verbs, articles, etc. Elohim in a situation like Psalm 82 has a plural context.
Furthermore, the usage of "-im" does not always denote a plural word.

The trinity or the Echad thing doesn't bother me When people say that Yeshua is a mere prophet, that's what bothers me. At least with the Trinity or Echad Yeshua is on an equal plane. There are people in my congregation that are for Echad and some for Trinity. To me they are both the same. Yeshua, the Father and Son get the same glory! Merci!

Some scriptures talk about the Word, some about Adonai, some about Elohim, some about Yeshua, some about Ruach and some about Yod Hey Vav Hey? I don'[t want to prove or disprove. These are greater than I will ever be.
