Which Bible in English do Orthodox prefer? Is that an individual's choice, or does the leadership make the recommendation for the whole Church?

I use the new Orthodox Study Bible because it is the complete Bible with the Old and New Testament and the Old is translated from the LXX (Septuagint) which is the Old Testament that the Church uses.

Peopel use variouss translations. Ther really is no "Official" translation.

I prefer the King James.

I also have an NIV which is a much better OT translation than NT.

I have an NKJV which I also like. I just got my Orthodox Study Bible today which is NKJV but varies from the "official" NKJV where the septuagint varies from the NKJV.

I also have a bible called a "New Authorized Version" which is a modernization of the KJV (just like the NKJV is) It is a good translation and includes the deuterocanonicals.
