Good to know - might watch it when it comes out on DVD

Overall - don't watch too many movies. Don't watch the various awards shows - too many entertainment people use them as a platform to espouse their views instead of just saying "glad you enjoyed it, thank you very much." Seems like even the movies and roles nominated have to be the "politically correct" ones as opposed to the ones that are simply good entertainment. I wonder how movies like "Gone With the Wind" or "The Sound of Music" would fare in today's world - would they again be best picture (somehow I doubt it).

None of the titles are familiar, none of the movies I saw last year were up for anything I guess, though I only saw Ghost Rider and Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer...:D :D

...i'm an uncultured swine...

I think the only movie I saw in a theater in 2007 was Transformers (with the grandboys). Might have been a second one - but nothing comes to mind. If there was another it would have been with the boys too (I'm such a good Gamma).

I was gonna rent it for my boys but I heard there were some "iffy" scenes in there...

there is one particular scene that lends nothing to the plot - and was added for the "obligatory sex reference" (comment only - nothing to look at)

my grandsons are young and it went right over their heads - late elementary school/middle school age kids wouldn't miss it

I thought of her - but couldn't decide is she a great actress or just drop dead gorgeous so left her off my list.

I do know that she's the reason my husband watched The Avengers.

She's the reason we all watched the Avengers...have to look for it on dvd, it was a pretty good spy show...and I can "objectively" review her acting talents:D

I didn't watch because of her - I watched because it was just a cool show
