I see that in Erwin's reorganization (http://www.christianforums.com/t670402) of the congregation forums, he includes the following categories:

Reformed
The forum for Calvinist, Presbyterian, Brethren and other similar denominations.

and

Baptist/ Anabaptist
The forum for Baptist, Mennonite, Quaker and other similar denominations.

I thought most Brethren denominations were Anabaptist in their orientation. In fact, when asked about which denominations belonged in Baptist/Anabaptist, I suggested all Free Church Protestants who don't have a board of their own (as Pentecostals/Charismatics have at CF). That would include Mennonite, Hutterite, Amish, Bruderhof, Baptist, Covenant, Evangelical Free, Friends, Salvation Army and most Brethren.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks!

:P Just become a true Protestant, i.e. a Reformer, and there will not be any identity confusion for you anymore. You'll be one when you get to heaven anyway, so why not get a head start?

I was raised in the Church of the Bretheren. I'm still at a loss as to why they're included in the Reformed room. I cannot find one article or statement of faith that suggests they adhere to Reformed Theology.
