Armory/Special Items

Would it be possible to be able to use more than just 3 special items? I am sure I am not the only one, but there are many times when one wants to dress a character, and because we are limited to 3, we just have to go without a background or for example a piece of jewelery.

This has come up in the past and it's on a long list of stuff that we want for the armory revamp, but we don't know when that will be.
