hey i actually attended a Coptic Liturgy for the Jonah's fast last night ... very beautiful. good luck on the fast everyone! Do other OO Churches besides the Copts do it too?

Interesting. What are the fasts of the year for OO. I love OO traditions. I will not speak to if we should be reunited or not, but I hope one day that we are reunited in Truth. There is so much beauty to your Church. And I don't mean that in a condescending or patronizing way like "wow, you guys are so beautiful, I wish you were part of the True Church!", I just mean it as an sincere observation and I hope so badly we can one day proclaim to the world a unified Church.

As to xpycoctomos's referring to "True church", the Coptic church was started by St. Mark in the year 43 not sure you can get much truer than that. Listen I'm not an Egyptian born Coptic but rather a convert so I will not nor can I delve into all the Schizms but I will say this Jesus Christ left this earth and one church and when he returns he returns for that one church. Orthodox is true teaching so it would be good if everyone can get over themselves and back to basics LOVE ONEANOTHER has Christ loved!
