Why is there no faith icon for the United Church of Christ? Also, what forum would they post in, the Reformed one? Here is their logo if a faith icon was to be made, you could just use the central part where the cross is.

Hmmm, no Presbyterian either. I guess they just gave up trying to put in all the Protestant denominations and just put a general Protestant in there hehe.

Presbyterians definitely fall under 'Reformed'. I would venture to say that the UCC does as well.

You can always make a post in the Suggestions Forum (http://christianforum.com/f30).

If you don't know what icon to use, use the standard Christian. When you choose another icon, you associate yourself with sometimes controversial views. Using the standard Christian icon is best, especially when you believe purely in the Bible.

what about Mennonites? Our logo is a dove which morphs to a cross (we have a non-violence tradition: no fighting for any reason, even if the war is 'just.')

Although I disagree with the concept of Die Stille in der Land. I believe in protesting if necessary, even fighting if the government (only if it's my own, or a conquering government) turns against us for some reason. Fighting for my own survival, essentially, and only if all others avenues have been exercised or cannot be used (time constraints, maybe). I won't fight others once I step across the borders of Canada.

BTW I'm not German, or ethnic Mennonite. I'm Chinese.

What about the Missionary Church. I PMed one of the mods and they didn't even think it was a real denomination! (I am part of a Missionary Church and a Lutheran Church)

My wife grew up in a Missionary Church in Indiana. I would ask her, "You mean Missionary Baptist?" and she would sigh and tell me "No, it was just called Berea Missionary Church."

My wife grew up Missionary.... They're similar to Baptists.... I think.

Actually I've been trying to find background info on this denomination but it's hard to come by.

I've posted a thread or two before at CF trying to find info but met with no response.

It is a real denomination but not an overly large one.
