Hi, I'm new here. I thought I'd start be sharing my personal vision for what I want to see happen on the earth.
Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came up and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
All Christians are called to Evangelise the lost.
If every Christian was to win 1 soul for Christ every month and train the convert how to do the same, the whole world could be won if we acted under the will of the Holy Spirit.
100 million would become 1200 million.
1200 million would become 14400 million.
100 million is probably an understatement of the number of born again Christians in the world and thats the whole world saved in 2 years if the Church will submit itself fully to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The only ones who would no be saved are those who actively harden their hearts against the truth.
Its no small order I admit but Jesus did say:
Matthew 16:18-19
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”
I believe it is every man, woman and childs greatest and foremost calling to save the lost and that if the Church would unite commit itself to fervent zealous evangelism and stand on God's promises that we would see the world saved.
It is daunting but don't focus on that, focus on Jesus, who has triumphed over death itself. We have to step out in faith and show God that we are serious, then he will keep his promises:
Mark 16:16-18
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."
I believe God is calling his Church to purify itself and to stand as a shining example to the world of the nature of Jesus Christ. If the Church will commit itself to taking on the likeness of Christ, then God will equip His Church with his power. I believe the days of tract and apologetic argument evangelism is coming to an end and God wants to demonstrate his supernatural power even on the streets.
The world has been increasingly keen to demonstrate satan's supernatural couterfeit and inferior power but we have been called to minister God's supernatural power under guidance of the Holy Spirit:
Luke 21:15
For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
I believe that time is short. I have an strong urgency that the world must be won now. It is time for us all to get deadly serious about our belief in Jesus Christ as the only way, truth and life. If you are a scholar of the end times and world events then you may have noticed how much mercy God is having on the earth, what has to come and how iminent it looks.
We are called to bring God's kingdom to the earth now. Jesus said he would return when nobody is expecting it. We must be fully prepared for the times that are about to come upon us. Jesus said:
Matthew 24:9-13
"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus said that many people will deny their faith in Him, he even went so far as to say that "the love of most will grow cold". The only way of ensuring this does not happen to us is to be Maxed Out For Christ. There is no place for complacency, if we think we will never grow cold or be deceived then that is when we are at our weakest and most vulnerable.
To be Maxed Out For Christ will ensure that we are preaching the gospel to the world and thus we will be persecuted more. Jesus said that the more the gospel is preached, the more the persecution will increase and then the end will come.
Do you want the end to come ?
I would encourage everyone to cry out to God to be transformed into the likeness of Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit to a greater degree at whatever cost so that the Church can be endowed with the full supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.
