Let me ask you a serious question: If I were to tell Catholics that they were outside of Christ's Church for no other reason than they were Catholic, would you think that I would be perceived by Catholics as being....
anit-Catholic?
a narrow minded bigot?
a wicked Calvinist (perhaps redundant with #1 & #2)?
a righteous dude?

I'm going to offer a gentle admonishment and then close this thread.

This serves no purpose. If this is how we fellowship, something is wrong. I have never had a conversation like this during a Session meeting, over beers, with my friends, etc. No where but here!

We have some very strong personalities on both sides of the fence. Threads like this look like a can of gas too close to the fire to me. I'm not asking you to get along. It is obvious that some of you are unable to do that. So at the very least, don't start trouble here.
