Can we please get an option to disable the CB?

For those of us stuck on dial up it makes the main page take to long to load.

Maybe it can be a feature for Site Supporters?

Thank you Jonny.. now I'll get busy sending folks to vote..not sure it will be an easy do-able coding, but I'm hoping :)

Yes, I think that everyone should have the option to disable the chat box. I am on dial up and it does indeed slow down the loading of the site.

Aha :idea: CB meant Chatbox (not Chrisbot) :)

Am not on dial up, but still agree on this :thumbsup:

I suffered on dial up for a long time too--- God bless you if you have the patience for it though I know some of you just don't have access yet to cable or dsl. So I'll support anything that helps our members on dial up load the site faster :)

This feature has been added to the *NEW* Complete List of Requested New Features--- Version 1.0, which is located here: http://christianforums.com/showpost.php?p=44436267&postcount=2

I can not promise that we’ll accept this new feature or that the site could be coded to have this type of feature, but it will be brought up to our coding techies at ChristianForums.com.
