Where is "soul sleep" in the Bible?

I know that a lot of Fundamentalists believe in "soul sleep", but where is this in the Bible?

I am, and have been a fundamentalist Christian ever since 1978, and I attended college at two separate fundamentalist Baptist universities..... and I have never EVER heard of any fundamentalist Christians who support the false doctrine of soul sleep.
