Mitt Romney: Fake Conservative

Mitt Romney, whether it be same-sex marriage, abortion, or the Iraq war, has flip-flopped on every important issue that conservatives care about. John McCain is a war hero, was a foot soldier for the Reagan revolution, and placed his political career on the line by supporting the troop surge in Iraq. Senator McCain, since his father was a military officer, was offered the opportunity to be freed from P.O.W. camp in Viet Nam. It was out of solidarity for his fellow soldiers that he volunteered to stay and be tortured. It is disgraceful what right-wing commentators have said about this true American statesman. I doubt that Mr. Romney has ever suffered at all for the good of our nation.
