Seeing that Fundamentalist are not all one group and can actualy differ in meaning according to who you ask should this forum be changed or taken down?Debate with a Fundamentalist is misleading.

What would you like to change it to?

since you and other members have made it quite clear that not all Fundamentalists are the same and seeing that that is an offense that i group you guys together then i think you should request a change unless you were just running youre mouth about the differences ..

Do you know how many baptists there are in the world ...There are not all the same are they ? Its the same principle .Since you have insisted that this is so some action should be followed .

Andy, it sounds like the people here don't quite meet your expectations or definitions of "Fundamentalist", and so you are suggesting that we must not really be Fundamentalists. Is this correct?

See . you are seeing what you want to see . 1.You dont want to be grouped together as one . 2. You have protested by grouping together of you as one .3. Im suggesting since their is a diversity why not make that known specificaly .

I have no doubt you are a fundamentalist to the core . And i honestly don't have a specific definition of a fundamentalist . If you say you are one then to me you are one .

You realy have misunderstood me .

Andy

I guess I am finding it impossible to understand what you are trying to say then. What is your purpose for this thread? Thanks.

I had a couple people i believe you were included that made it very clear to me that I was grouping all of you fundamentalists together ,.

The purpose of this thread is a reaction to that protest by asking the question..
Should this Forum be renamed ?

No offense Des but if you can't understand that I can't help you. Thats as plain as I can put it ..

But i resent the suggestion that you made that i am excluding Fundamentalist because they dont fit my definition. There was nothing i said that remotely suggested that.

the operational definiton for what is a Fundamentalist was adopted from a widely supported public declaration, was voted on by members here and adopted in unanimity (an RC, if I recall, voted in the negative just to spoil the reality that we were in fact unanimous.

I refer u to that for the definition.

If u choose to use the definition as provided by the general media, or some other source, that is not our problem, that is YOUR problem.

You can not unilateraly re-define the word Fundy after our pains in making it clear.
