I am not mad at you...How do you lose friends here??? maybe I do not have any to lose..oh I think Paul signed up to be my friend... does that count....

Hello Everyone! How goes it? I'll be your friend Crazy Liz, if you want.

My kitchen is clean, my DH is watching tv, is there any cake or cider left? Maybe some tea?

Hey! I have a question...How would I get a prayer circle going? I want to get all believers together at a specific time to pray for the un-believers over in the non-Christian forums.

I tried going over there and talking with them, but it's like talking to a brick wall that happens to have shark teeth.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Now, where's that cake I saw in that picture...or was that cornbread???

It's pretty easy to add people to your buddy list. Just click the little http://www3.christianforums.com/images/b.gif. Click links or pictures after that & you'll see what to do next.

Hello to one and all. Hope everyone had a great Sunday!
I am going to ask for a prayer request here, because I can not figure out how to start a thread and did not want to wait.
A close friend, actually future brother-in-law, he is 28, has just been diagnosed with MS. So this is very new to all of us. He is still being tested. So if you all could please pray for guidance, peace etc. however the Lord leads We would appreciate it. I am personally not sure if he is saved.
Anyway thank you for your prayers.

:prayer: I had a partner with MS for several years. When we broke up our partnership 10 years ago, he was in a motor-driven wheelchair. when I visited him last summer, he was walking! MS is serious, but it has remissions and the medical treatments are getting better every year.

ZiSunka

I will be praying!

One of the people in my church was diagnosed with MS and was being treated for it, but it turned out she was taking too high dosage of B vitamin supplements and when she stopped, after a few months, she began to recover. Turns out B vitamin poisoning has the same symptoms as MS.

:prayer: I hope your brother-in-laws problem is something so simple, but if it isn't I pray the Lord will show him why He is taking him down this path in life and that he will fulfill the Lord's call through this.:prayer:

They're coming back again tonight. Someone else came to see it last night. The jerks went through some of my drawers, moved my furniture and left the backdoor wide open when they left! I'm really mad! Has that ever happened to any of you? Nothing is missing, they just did strange stuff. Did they think the drawers came with the house or what?

I don't blame you for being mad! I would be  HOT:mad: ! They should not be going through your drawers... If any furniture is moved, it should be put back in the exact place it was before... And really, they shouldn't be moving it unless it is to look at some sort of damage to the house, etc... I have never heard of that happening when a house is being shown... I would let the realtor know exactly how I felt about it all.

Good deal! That is just so bad... I don't believe an agent would let them do that...

Aimee and I are going to start officially looking for a house sometime around Jan/Feb '05. We are still in an apartment right now, which is nice... But it is hard to know that we are throwing our money away in rent. We really want to get into a house so we can build some equity and have our "own place". :)

Property value is SO high here in Austin though (at least for the Texas market)... It is going to take some time and effort to find the right place. We will be spending lots of time in prayer when the time comes to start looking.

One thing that might help is to get a house you can afford at this point, and not try to get into your dream home too soon. I've known more than one couple that fell apart because the cost of the home overwhelmed them. The people I bought my house from were newlyweds who had been living in the wife's home but decided they needed to get into their dream home as soon as possible after the birth of their daughter. They could have fixed up their home for much less than the down payment on their new place, but they decided they deserved their dream. About a year later, the federal bankrupcy court contacted me to make sure that I wasn't buying land contract or anything to help them hide assets because they had just filed for bankrupcy. I read their divorce in the court news section of the paper about 6 months after that. It happens a lot, so don't look at renting as wasting money--look at it as saving your marriage for now! :)

AJ

Sound advice! :) We are very aware of the perils of buying something that is too much for the budget. We plan on buying a house that is well within our means.

Sssshhhh! It's a secret. Since you're my friend, though, I'll share it with you. Just don't tell anybody else.

Actually, several people here have found sites for graphics and smilies. You can do a Google image search, or if you find one you like in somebody else's post, click the "quote" button, and copy the [img] tag into your "drafts" folder. Then you can retrieve it whenever you want. You can also paste the url into your browser window and go to the website yourself. Usually, you need to delete everything after .com, .org, etc. to get to the home page for that website. Then you can browse it for other graphics.

Get Paul to show you how.

 Too many christians have a gloomy disposition (not saying you do) but smilies can help turns someones day brighter. It can also soften an response that with just words alone can be taken wrong.

Christians have hope, joy, peace, eternity with God we need to show it to the world and why not use smilies to help show it.

ONE chocolate decaf carmel coming up!!

A pleasent thought for the morning: Have you ever noticed that which everway you word your order for a morning coffee (rippin on Starbucks), they ALWAYS change it!!

Example... If i ask for a double tall vannilla latte w/ 2% milk... they will repeat it as a double tall 2% vannilla latte'. OR If i say double tall 2% vannilla latte' they will repeat it as a double tall vannilla latte' w/ 2% milk.

OR if i ask for a double tall extra foam non-fat latte, it'll come back as a double tall non-fat latte w/ extra foam.

I think it's a conspiracy... and i've started saying NO - that's not what i asked for.. I said a double tall extra foam non-fat latte not a double tall non-fat latte w/ extra foam.

would "You gave birth to me be better"?
The earlier post comment was in reference to the..what kind of dance do you do question, because Glorianna had asked earlier..and I answered.
