hi can anyone tell me how i can put an icon next to my name. that represents how i feel like happy,sad etc, i noticed some people have them. thanks

Go to your control panel. Choose edit profile from the left hand menue. You have to scroll down a bit (about halfway, but there is a drop down menu under mood. There you can choose what mood you are in :)
