I thought this may be an interesting question. How far do you travel and how long does it take for you to get to Worship?
If we join the Lutheran Church that alot of our family goes to, it will be 27-30 minutes travel time and 25 miles.

2 miles. If we weren't so lazy we could probably walk. 3 kids under 5 years old and my pregnant wife in heels....think we'll keep driving the van!

That's for sure, I'll be the first to admit it. It'd take over an hour for us to get there with my 2 year old daughter stopping every 3 feet to smell a flower or pick up a stone. Plus there's no sidewalks where we're at (rural) and we'd have to walk right on the road!

it is about 3.5 miles, about 5-10 minutes depending on lights and traffic

I live 3 miles (5km for any other Canadians out there).
On a good traffic day I can take the freeway and be to church in 4 minutes. In rush hour it takes 15. Ironically I live about 7 blocks from another Lutheran church and my supervisor lives 3 blocks from yet another one.
When I was living in the town where my seminary is, I lived accross the street from one Lutheran church in town. I drove right past another to get to the congregation that my grandmother, uncles, aunt and cousins attended. And still I was less than five minutes from that congregation.

46 nukes... What? Here's something for you. I tried to type miles, but my right hand was moved one key to the left. Try it. Put your four right fingers on "hjkl" and try to type miles.
But yea, 46 mile round trip.

three blocks.
We started going there because it was the closest church to our new home when we moved. Now we're Lutherans.

8 miles from home - around 15 - 20 minutes. If it's a weekday service, I usually walk since the church is on campus.

It is just over 15 miles for us. It generally takes us around 25 - 30 minutes or so to get there, depending on how the traffic is. It would be nicer if the ramp for the expressway was a tad closer to the house, with fewer lights in between. :)

1/2 a mile. Funny how our Church is so close yet we are 10 minutes from the nearest town.
