Congratulations, JAS. :)

Since you're king, could you please order your kitchen help to make me a banana split with fresh strawberries (none of the icky topping stuff), chopped almonds instead of walnuts, fresh whipped cream, and extra cherries?

Oh, while you're at it, a cup of freshly ground french roast with white chocolate macadamia creamer would do nicely, too.

Have fun being king.

Hey maybe I "did" learn something from dad...he designed the fiber optic system on the tridents! He's a smart guy...and I "don't/didn't and probably never will live up to his expectations of me"! But, he would be proud that I kinda guessed at what that was! Yay!

Okay in conjuction with bill's post! Does anyone here feel like they are closer to the heavenly realm than to this earth's realm?

Like we are just here now visiting, and spreading His word...but we are "NOT" part of this world, and the distance between seeing His realm and this one. It is making this world seem dimly lit to me. Anyone else feeling this way? Or maybe I've crossed over into "nuts"! :D

I am a citizen of heaven, living in a foreign country. That's how the writer of Hebrews described those he/she listed in the "Hall of Fame of Faith" in chapter eleven:

All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.And indeed if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them. (Hebrews 11:13-16)

We don't belong to this world, but to His. We are ambassadors in this country, and we are hated for our message, which the citizens of this world take as hostile, deranged, or hypocritical. I share Christ in my actions and my words, but those who do not choose to go to my homeland are responsible for their own failure.

You feel the need to be able to survive in the wilderness...me too! Howdy all! I just got back from the library and its sooo tiny they had to "order" my book by Frank Peretti. Anyone else like reading his scary Christian novels?

So, okay where I am "all...the way over on the east coast"....I'm already cooking dinner! Now, it is hmm hmm good..Beef Stew and takes a few hours! But...yummy, so worth the wait!

All are invited to join in...be more than happy to meet and greet "all" of you and your families!

Man, wouldn't that be the "bees knees" to all be togther even here on this earth? :D I don't know why I said that...my mom must have popped into my head! She always said that...but she was a teen in the forties...so there ya' go! Still cracks me up....btw...DO bees have knees? :D

I know I am talking to myself for a moment, but...is it okay to play even if you don't want to be in charge? :D

I would be just as happy being a princess instead of the Queen! Being a queen is just too much like work! ;) I just want to sit around and play all day! :tutu:

Well, it takes "my way" about 10 minutes to prepare..then a couple hours to just sit and get all yummy, with an occasional stir. If you really want...I can pm you "my" fast recipe? I hate to cook...so all things are reduced to twenty minutes to make...or we would never eat! :D

YOU a wallflower...I can hardly believe that! You seem so out going and FUN! Who could have resisted you?

I was the one "always" doing the craziest thing anyone could think of...and that was in the days of high school when I was still kinda an introvert. You know....bd...before drugs! And, HE brought me out of that wilderness! :amen: Now, I'm just a looney tune, and "everyone" I know will testify that is the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth! :D May God strike me down if I be lying! *ducking* now, just in case! :)
