This may sound a bit odd, but seeing that actually brought a tear to my eye (an honest one!). To finally have the REAL Old Testament - the scriptures of the Apostles... with no need to be beholden to some academic obsession with the Hebrew Massoretic texts...

An Orthodox translation designed for a normal audience of the same Bible that St. Paul used... This really is a special moment for Orthodoxy in English speaking countries. Savor it.

Well, ordered mine before Christmas, so I look forward to getting it. Yeah, my husband and I both got one. We have to have our own Bibles.

mmm it is a bit expensive for those on a limited budget, I wonder when the paperback will make it's debut!

My biggest problem is that I'm in Australia, on top of it being expensive, so shipping is going to be ick.

I know that it can be ordered at Borders' website and most likely found in Borders stores as well (hey, maybe some that have a Bible collection will pick it up and... who knows?)

But our bookstore lady is going to sell it at price.:)

One of of the websites (amazon, i think) the pub date was listed in june...i'm glad that they were wrong.

ETA: It looks like they're projecting that the non-leather version won't be available until 17 Jun. Hopefully someone can correct me.

Conciliar Press's website says both the leather and hardbound are due in Feb. See the very bottom of:

Maybe the paperback is what has a June release?

Not mine yet... I ordered a leather and a hard bound on Nov 3rd... we'll see...

I think it's like this: if you ordered directly from Conciliar Press, you get your copy shipped at release in February. Commercial sites like Amazon are not shipping until later.
