Well it's a skit on the wee frees. The Free Church of Scotland, of whose members it has been said that they are only content when they have discovered somebody else enjoying themselves and are able to stop it.

It has some topical significance as some very high up cleric within the Church has made a heart-felt plea for some more joy in worship and a more light-hearted attitude towards enjoyment.

And he's got himself in trouble!

I must admit that apart from the part about the poor suicidal lady (which IMO was in dubious taste) I quite enjoyed this not least because I am Catholic and the "wee frees" are one of the most bigotted antiCatholic churches around. IMO they all need to lighten up after all where in the Bible does it say Christians have to go around with long faces all the time?:confused: :scratch:

That's the problem. "Dubious Taste"
Christians would recognise what dubious taste would be but I fear their attempt at satire would be so bland.

Why do you say "I must admit?".... Sometimes I think God uses the world to refine us and chop off our ridiculous attitudes and behaviour.
Actually I M Jolly is Church of Scotland.

Why not see the other items on yoytube - just search for I M JOLLY - A Man for All Seasons is good.

In it Jolly forgets to put his clock back and is late to preach!
