I think people forget about the resurrection of the dead. Not Christ's, but ours. It is when we are raised from the dead that we will have bodies that will never again suffer any kind of sickness, disease, hunger, thirst, or any need whatsoever. We can expect to have some kind of disease in this lifetime (praise God if someone doesn't). I believe that our total healing will be principally manifested in the resurrection. I think that there is not enough emphasis placed upon this event and its significance. We will spend an ETERNITY free from all the effects of sin. Is that not amazing? ETERNITY in a sick-free condition. By His stripes we are healed indeed!

We live in a world with sin. Sin affects the entire physical world, until sin is gone, death, disease, tragedy, etc. (ect for Andry) will be around this world. The glory of God is not that these things do not come upon us, but that regardless of them we hold fast.

Well, IMO, the problem isn't that they have fogotten about the resurrection. The problem is that they don't want to have to wait that long.
They want it NOW.

There is a doctrine floating around pentecostal circles, called 'living the resurrection experience'.
I Attend a non-denominational Chinese fellowship on Friday evening. We had a speaker a few years ago for easter. Instead of speaking on the resurrection he spoke on 'living the resurrection experience'.
If you have ever seen the movie 'Where Eagles Dare' with CLint Eastwood. In that movie there is a line where CLint Eastwood said he was as confused as he ever hoped to be.
Clint must have attended that talk.
