Christ Is Risen!

Greetings. It's been several months since I last visited this forum. And may be a while before I do so again. No offense, but I relish live contact to reading letters.

Any way, I thought I'd stop by and give you an update as to my journey.

I am still "just" a catechumin. however, my 13 year old son is now a chrismated member. I am waiting on my wife, as many of you will recall. That wait appears to be coming to an end.

Certain things have prompted her willingness to move, not the least of which are things that she is seeing with her own eyes as to the novelty of the protestant sect she is in. (A statement she told me was made in a recent SS class: "Too bad there's not a way to worship God that transcends cultural labels and focuses only on God." She about choked.)

As it is, we are becoming an Orthodox family. And for that I praise God.

Peace.

Peter

In a relationship with someone, don't you want to do more than the bare minimum? If you love Christ, don't you want to make Him happy and do the things that He has said you should do?

Katherine,

Did you mean to post that somewhere else? I'm confused.
