Please post how you see Christ's light shine through your brothers and sisters here. Maybe some of us can learn something more about ourselves. :)
Elizabeth,
however old you may be, you still posess a childlike faith and a deep understanding of the heart of Jesus, especially through His Mother.
Andreas,
you always seem to be in high spirits, and your love for others is so pure. God has great plans for you, and if it is indeed to be a priest, you will be among the finest.
heather,
the Lord is very good to you in that He has given you a profound understanding of God beyond your years, and two little blessings to show you more of Himself through them. You are in my prayers.
...note; if i didn't mention you, that just means I don't know you well enough yet. :)

God bless you brother, you are too kind to me.:)
Well here goes my list, sorry if I leave you out but I can be quite forgetful sometimes.
Rising_Suns,
You are a true example of Christian love and devotion. I will never forget the kindness you have shown to me and others. I hope one day when you are in a Monsatery people will come to know you in the Christian world, just so they can benefit, as I have benefited from your loving spirit.
JefferyLloyd,
Like Rising_Suns your Christian spirit has been an inspiration to me, and I often think of the love and kindness you show to others. It's an honor to have ever spoken to you.
chanter,
You have a very caring heart, and that's something many people lack.
Bulldog,
You have an open mind and a thirst for knowledge. You are destined for great things.
Photini,
I have a great respect for your knowledge, and your devotion.
Oblio,
I really like your fairness. Plus, you have really cool Church photos.
Matthias,
You're a kind and fun guy.
Bruncvik,
When I'm bored I read your posts. I may not agree with all you say, but man are you interesting.
Nickolai,
I think it's great that you converted to the Church at such a young age.
Matrona,
You have been a great help to me many times.:)
JefftheFinn,
I respect your opinions on things.
Umut,
:P

Dear Davide,
Having a 19 year old son is keeping me very active. Since you're still quite young I appreciate your deep spirituality and hope that you will keep the faith. I pray that you will become a good and holy priest-monk wherever God leads you.
Dear Andreas and Umut,
You both seem to have a spiritual maturity that is beyond your years. May the Lord perserve you in holiness and keep you safe. If God is calling you to the priesthood, I pray that you may be shining examples of humility and virtue.
Yours truly in the Risen Lord,
Elizabeth

Rather than mention specific names, I'm going to be general (for the sake of brevity and to avoid leaving someone out!)
I'm grateful to all of you who answered my questions lovingly and patiently, and who prayed for me, especially while I was wavering back and forth about Orthodoxy. Most of you are continually charitable and most helpful and encouraging to newcomers, and have much wisdom to share.

Alfred M, for your gentle and meek way with us.
Davide, for your calmness and devotion.
Christopher, for your cheerfulness and knowledge also.
Andreas, nothing seems to get your spirit down.
Michael (Iconographer), for your sense of humor. It is also nice to have an iconographer here to help us (especially us converts) to understand this important aspect of our Faith.
John (prodromos), because you live in Greece. ^_^

What a great idea for a thread...but it is too hard for me remember everyone. You guys are like my second family...all of you. And if I could have a wish, it would be to have a reunion meeting that all of you could attend. It would be wonderful to meet each one of you.
I always tell my wife how wonderful it is to visit in the forum and exchange thoughts and share knowledge...maybe I can get her to join in soon.
In the love of our Saviour,
Alfred, the lowliest of sinners

All of you expecially the OP, have made me
All of you are so wonderful...I will miss some names but heres the ones I have really considered:
Alfred M: You so lovingly brought me to repentence and you didn't even know that.
Rising Suns: You brought me here to CF and told me it was okay to be Catholic...I know I ended up Orthodox but you were the first person to support me when I stood up for Catholicism. I was a thirsty pilgrim and you showed me where the well was...
nyj: For being YOU and for standing up for Truth, no matter where it goes....
Oblio: for being my shining example of a "Patristic Mind". For showing me that worshipping Christmas Trees was definitely not in God's plan.
Andreas : For being such a kind and loving witness to me, before I really could "commit". And for knowing that the Baptist Trail of Blood was bs without me saying it.
Umut: For inspiring me with the youth of my faith...for teaching me that wisdom can be had no matter old I get.
chanter: for reminding me to be strong and immovable as the Rock upon which I stand.
theresalittleflower: for encouraging me, and telling me I was a worthy person to seek the Truth.
countrymouse and Momzilla: For sharing the journey with me....two stars to the left, and we're there, mates!!! For not being afraid to ask difficult questions and to DREAM.
JeffreyLloyd: You don't know this, but I read all your posts and you helped me so much to understand my Catholic brothers and sisters, even when I was a Protestant.
brewmama: For telling me I was good enough for the Lord's work.
Philip: because you patiently answered my questions and told me I was worthy to come in here and ask my "burning questions" ....I still have them but I know where to go now!!!!
debiwebi: for sharing the personal journey with me. Ya know what I mean, gel!!!
(girl in Irish)
Anonykat: for your wisdom and all that research
!! Whew! A lot of stuff I didn't have to look up!
xenia: for being you and for being here for fellowship ....
Epiphany for being a fellow wallower in LDS stuff.
There are so many and I can't name all...I love you...let it go at that...you know who you are!!!

Do I really have to name each and everyone of you specifically? Everyone has been very, very accepting of me here in the past few months, and everyone here does a very good job helping each other understand the Orthodox faith better and shows a genuine Christian love toward each other. Thank you all for being patient with me and allowing me to try to share my understanding of iconography with you, and thank you for sharing your understanding of Orthodoxy with me.

I love all my Orthodox brothers and sisters here at CF. I also really appreciate my RC brethern, Jeffrey Lloyd and Christy4Christ for sure, and ps139 as well.
Elizabeth always has a kind word, Photini is a bookworm (gotta love that!) Matrona and Andreas continue to give me great hope for the future of the faith. I feel a special link to Iconographer since we are in the same Deanery, plus his wisdom in answering questions regarding Orthodox v. RC issues and ?s on iconography is awesome.
Countrynouse and Momzilla, it has been such a thrill for me to see the two of you begin your journeys to Holy Orthodoxy, and Suzzanah as well!
And then there's our occasional Protestant lurker, Bulldog. At times I wonder if he is truly only 13  He asks good questions and seems genuinely accepting of our answers.
I could go on, to those I haven't named, please don't feel left out,the post could simply get to be way too long!
In Christ's Love,
Eusebios

I admire Matrona for her zeal and perseverance. I hope that you will not have to go too long between church services this summer.
countrymousenc, A fellow lover of books....and how I wish I could have a place to plant flowerbeds.
Suzannah, what you write is truly beautiful. It has been a blessing to meet you (as well as Dianne and Momzilla) on your journey to Orthodoxy. What a special time in our lives!
Xenia, I don't know how to express my gratitude to you. :)
chanter, for the charity you show others, and reminding me to pray always.

I love you all. I don't have much chance to chat with Orthodox Christians in real life, working as I do for an Evangelical high school and coming home to my Evangelical family. It's so good to read your conversations, which I always do, even when I can't think of much to add myself. God bless you all, you are all very dear to me.
Love, Xenia

I generally stick to TAW and OBOB. When I do venture upwards in the list (notice we keep getting pushed farther down the more fragmented the former P/R/E becomes) I invariably want to bang my head against a wall. I don't think I've ever seen a thread at TAW or OBOB (at leat not one that stayed open for any length of time) that I found ridiculous. So, I want to thank you guys for being literate and wise.
TAW: I love how there is never really a debate in our forum. No matter the question, whether about Orthodoxy or the Orthodox stance on a certain issue, the response is almost always unified. There's no "I think_____" or "At my church, we are taught______." TAW, to me anyway, represents the synodal unity that is Orthodoxy. I wasn't gonna name anyone specifically, since you are all great, but I have to say I think about Umut a lot and how brave he is to become Orthodox in a Muslim household. The world needs more Turkish Christians. Well, more anything Christians, but especially in that area.
OBOB: Thank you for introducing me to the fabled conservative Catholic! I had heard they existed, but had never met one before coming to CF. I also really appreciate the way you guys backed Iconographer and myself during the two weeks of "bash the Orthodox" threads that cropped up at OBOB. I also really respect your Pope and what it meant to have a Pope come out of a communist country. You definitely need to have more Slavic Popes, just stick to Poland and not Russia and we'll get along fine ;)
TAW and OBOB: I'm so glad I can come here and be assured I'm not going to see a thread about the salvation of others, or Benny Hinn, or tongues, or relativism, or sola anything. You guys are great!!!

I love all of you, and I feel if I used names I would definitely forget some people. However...
Matrona, you are always busy but when you're available you are always a wealth of information.
Chanter, you know how to brighten up everyone's day, no matter how bad it has been!
Andreas, you are just awesome!
I'll post more names as I get to know people. :)

Awww, you guys, I love you all!!!
If I gotta name names, though...
Suzannah, countrymouse, and Momzilla, it's been so wonderful to see the three of you finding Orthodoxy, and watching you all on your journeys helps me relive the memories of my own.
Oblio for being an awesome mod and also sharing with us his new church and Anna, too...
Photini for being so smart and so sweet! And for giving me her copy of Way of a Pilgrim... as soon as I get back to Columbia and get all sorted out there, I am going to find you lots of cool icon cards to give you! And the rest of you guys to whom I owe icon cards, I promise :)
Eusebios, every post of his is a treasure :)
Cradle, for being so gracious in accepting those rep points when he signed my guestbook. :)
Iconographer, for sharing with us his journey to Orthodoxy in the conversions thread and also sharing his thoughts and wisdom... he's cool... :holy:
Philip, 'cuz he's an awesome mod too and he has the same name as a dear friend of mine who is also Orthodox. ;) Although that friend of mine is named after Philip of the twelve, and our Philip's patron is Philip of the seven deacons if I remember correctly. :)
Peter Jon, even though he hasn't been around us for too long, his music is wonderful and I'm so grateful to him for sending me those wonderful CDs to play on my show. I got my Orthodox friends to listen (I surprised them) the first time I was able to play tracks from those, and what a surprise it was for them! They were so happy!
JefftheFinn, because I miss him and I hope he can be back with us soon. Also, he's a cool guy.
chanter, for being a great friend and never patronizing!
Not to mention all the kind folks in OBOB, including Miss Shelby, Rosa Mystica, Christy4Christ, and anyone else who I am neglecting, you have such kindness and grace!
For anybody else, you guys are awesome, too. Agape and prayers for you all. :)

Photini: Although we never interact on this forum, I have always been impressed by your wisdom and deep faith. You truly are a Child of Christ!
Matrona: You have always treated me w/ kindness, and for that I am grateful. Not to mention that you are mature beyond your years. May God bless you always!
Jamesb: For being such a sweetheart!
