Does anybody know if Fr. Seraphim or any of his work are becoming known in Russia? I recall being told that there was a weeping Icon of him in Moscow, and that his book "The Soul After Death" is being read by a lot of folks there?

All of his books are known there. They were known there during his lifetime. He and (now defrocked) Fr. Herman spent their time at Platina translating in and out of Russian and sending/importing books to and from Russia. Don't quote me on this; I was told this a long time ago and my memory isn't working lately.

Books by and about him are sold in church bookstores as well as journal "Russkiy palomnik" ("Russian Pilgrim") published by Platina monastery.

From what I've heard, Bl. Seraphim's books are on sale everywhere in Russia, even in the Metro stations.

Thanks, all. It's amazing what impact this Holy man has had on the Orthdox world.
