I have some Free Will Baptists and Missionary Baptists in my family.

What do Free Will Baptist's and Missionary Baptists believe? How are they different than First Baptists or Southern Baptists?

Thanks,

The difference is probably thier theology on salvation--where they might lie on the Calvin-Arminian continuum. Free will I read come from the General Baptist in the 1700's, and were Arminian.

I'm still searching for missionary. I think it just means they do mission work, unlike other hyper-calvism baptist churches that did not.

Free Will Baptists are Arminians; IOW, they do not believe in once saved, always saved. Other than that, they tend toward fundamentalist thought and practice.
Missionary Baptists? I'd need a bit more info to give you a good answer. Churches that use this name fall into one of three categories:
1. Southern Baptists (mainly in the Midwest) who adopted it as part of the church name to distinguish themselves from some of the anti-mission Primitive groups.
2. Black Baptist churches use the "Missionary" name frequently.
3. Landmark Baptist groups (anti-institutional strictly localist in their view of the church) often go by "Missionary Baptist".
All three of these "Missionary" groups generally hold to "once saved, always saved".

Considering it's family, I'd say probably #3.
